Shadowclan Camp

he smiled up at his little sister before his eyes closed and he drifted off into slumber. the wily cat only really let down his guard when he was sleeping.

Snowflower came out of the leaders den. She looked up. It was still night time. She padded away, to the border once more.

Oakstar stood and yawned, his ears flicking around, he was older than snowflower by a few seasons, he was already an apprentice when his mother gave birth to her. Oakstar padded out of camp and stood still as stone as he saw a badger appear out of nowhere. his ears pinned to his head as the wily old cat leapt and raked his claws down its side. the badger moved and grabbed him in its teeth. Giving a yowl of pain oakstar closed his eyes as the badgers teeth chomped him in two.

Foxflight gathered his herbs in piles, nodding ever once in a while when one stack seemed uneven with another. His whiskers twitched with an odd sense of knowing and he contnued moving his small paws over the fragile plants.

Snowflower returned. She was shocked to see a badger, had just KILLED her brother. She gave a ear deafening screech. "Go away! Back to the forest."she yelled. She bit off the badgers ear. "I said GO AWAY!"she yelled into it's good ear. The badger flung her off, but raced back to it's home in the pine forest. Snowflower stood next to Oakstar, tears filling her eyes. She took his body to the center of camp, and did a vigil.

After the vigil, Snowflower looked to Foxflight. "I'll be at the moonstone."she said.

EDITE: The newly named Snowstar returned. She looked to the nursery.

In the nursery a tiny kit trotted out of the nursery, his whiskers forward and his nose twitching. his black ears were perked forward. He had some of oakstars build in his shoulders and body. however his legs were rather short for a kit, but they would probbaly grow. his paws were just the faintest shade of brown as they would darken later on in the kits life.

"Hello Skykit."she smiled. "Skykit is 6 moons old already.... he is ready to be an apprentice.'she thought to herself.

Skykit perked his ears and grinned "hey snowflower!". he was completly unaware of events that had taken place for snowflower to become snowstar. he pounced on nothing then stood up straight and clumsily made his way over to the new leader "whats up?" then "you smell weird, like frosty shadowclans what happened?"

"That's because I just returned from the moonstone."she smiled. Snowstar looked to Skykit. "I'm the new leader."she said.

Skykits black ears flicked back "does this mean that das dead?". His skyblue eyes widened with pain. he hunched over low to the ground shivering. tears beginning to slide down his narrow face. his black tail curled around his back legs as he began yowling his sorrow to starclan.

Snowstar nodded sorrowfully. "I'm afraid so..."she said softly.

Snakestar leapt up and sat down waiting for mudfur to catch up. he noticed a tiny kit wailing to the sky and flattened his ears a little. he wasnt a big fan of kits but he had to talk to Oakstar. the handsome leader glanced over and his gaze rested on snowflower. his eyes glittered with emotion.

Mudfur sprinted into the ShadowClan camp and skidded to a halt. He looked over at Snakestar and padded over to him. "Ok." He said, looking around. "What are we here for?" The mud-brown warrior turned his gaze over to a grieving kit. I wonder what's wrong with him, he wondered.

Foxflight hissed viciously as SNakestar and Mudfur entered the camp, he never had liked other Clans. And they had no excuse to be walking uninvited into ShadowClan's camp. The rusty tom bounded over to face to WindClan leader and mewed crossly. "You have no business here Snakestar, you are not welcome. Oakstar is dead, Snowstar is our new leader. This Clan is in a state of mourning." He narrowed his eyes. "I must ask you to leave." He had seen the way that Snowstar and Snakestar looked at eachother, and he wanted them as far away as possible.

Snakestars fur bushed up and he stood. he said coldly "well unfortunatly for you frogface im here to speak to whatever leader is leading shadowclan to offer a peace". his brown eyes sparked with dislike of the meddlesome medicine cat. "but if you dont want peace i can understand that, however shouldnt you be calming down that kit before anyone elses hearts break?"

Skykits mouth shut as he looked over and saw a huge cat. his sky blue eyes opened in wonder. he stood and began making his way over to the massive cat. he sat down watching with his perked ears. he frowned the other cat smelled weird of open ground and moors.

"stay here."she said to Skykit. "Foxflight, thank you, but it's not the right situation to do this."she said. Snowstar looked to Snakestar. "Alliance, right?"she asked. "Foxflight, may you be so kind as to help Skykit with this situation of grief?"she whispered to him.

Snakestar nodded to snowstar, his eyes glittered with sadness because he knew now that they could never be together. he said softly "perhaps we should talk in your den Snowstar". his brown eyes glittered with affection for the white she cat.

"sure."she said. Snowflower, now Snowstar padded into her new den sorrowfully.

Snakestar padded in after her, he hesitated then gently touched his nose to her cheek "i propose an alliance snowstar, both our clans are small, if we are on the same side then we can survive better". his eyes watched her sorrowfully.

Snowflower nodded. Ever since green cough spread out, not many survived."she sighed. "I accept the alliance."said the she cat.

Snakestar smiled a little, his eyes glittering with pain and hurt "we wont ever get to be together now will we?" he questioned softly, staring at the cat whom he had hoped to make his mate. he shuddered and stared down at his paws. feeling his heart beginning to break.

Skykit was in a state of shock, he was shaking badly his ears pinned back. his blue eyes were wide in astonishment. he began coughing then retched up his dinner. a classic statement of shock. he stared at the half digested mouse and began backing up tears in his eyes.

Tigerkit appeared in the brambles, she was small enough to make her way through them without preamble. she lashed her tail seeing a sickly kit in shock. she smirked thinking what that kit needs is a good play fight. Tigerkit always had plenty of energy. she leapt down and tackled him.

Skykit grunted as he felt a heavier body on him. he stared up at a fuzzy kit that reeked of fish. he wrinkled his nose and shoved her off. he sat up glaring at her. this cat must have come from riverclan! gross! he fluffed up his sparser fur then launched himself at the other kit.
