Thunderclan Camp

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches. The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance. The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine cat's den.

Mistystar padded in from the leader's den. She flicked her tail. She was well rested and ready to go to the borders. The she-cat padded away.

Mistystar padded back in. Placing the kill on the fresh-kill pile. I wonder if there would be any fun at the great symacore... She smiled and padded away again.

Feathersoul padded into the camp. Her jaws were chocked full of catmint. It was a good day for gathering herbs, the black she-cat thought. The small black female slipped though the fern tunnel and back into the Medicine Den. She spat the herbs out, pushing them into the crack in the rock where she stored her herbs. Sighing contentedly, she padded back outside to the Fresh-Kill Pile. The small cat bent over, grasping a vole in between her needle-sharp teeth before lying down to eat.

Edit: Upon taking a final bite, the small she-cat looked to the sky, her eyes watching as the full moon rose steadly in the sky. Time for the Gathering, she thought, quickly burying the remains of her prey and setting out to Four Trees.

Mistystar padded into the camp. She was exausted. She frowned and looked at the camp. There wasn't very many cats in the clan.

Feathersoul padded into the camp. Spotting Mistystar a little ways away, she walked over to her leader. "What's there to do? It seems we're the only ones in the camp right now," the Medicine Wolf tasked her leader, sitting down in her signature pose; sitting tall with her long black tail wrapped around her paws.

"I don't really know." She flicked her tail. "I really need to figure out who will be deputy, though." Her ears twitched.

Feathersoul thought for a moment. "Well, maybe you could make Emberfeather deputy. Just for a while, until you can find someone who fits the position well," she proposed.

She smiled. "I will, but temporarily." She flicked her spotted tail. "When I find somecat suited for the position she will drop down from the position."

Feathersoul nodded. "Best to have a temporary one than not one at all," the Medicine Cat said.

Emberfeather padded out of the Warriors' Den, her jaws spit in a yawn. Overhearing Feathersoul and Mistystar talking about a deputy, the tawny she-cat padded over to her Clanmates. "So, who's going to be the deputy?" she asked her sister, Mistystar. "Squirrelstorm? Or what about Birchclaw?"

She sighed. "Well, you're going to be a temporary deputy if you'd like." The Bengal cat flicked her tail. She looked at the sky in wonder.

Emberfeather's yellow eyes widened in surprise. "Me? Oh, wow, thanks," the tawny Abyssinian mewed, her tail curling up in happiness. She glanced around the clearing. "I'm going to the Great Sycamore to hunt. Anyone want to come?" the she-cat asked.

"Just remember, it's temporary." The Bengal cat said. "Sure! I'll hunt." She said, and smiled. "Lets go." She said and waited for the others who might come.

"Okay!" Emberfeather padded out of the thorn barrier, heading to the Great Sycamore. "I'll wait for you there!" the she-cat called over her shoulder as she disappeared into the forest.

Feathersould pricked her ears. "Sure, I'll go hunting!" she mewed. "Just because I'm a Medicine Cat doesn't mean I can't hunt," she said, curling her black tail up, amused, as she padded out of camp.

Mistystar nodded and trailed the behind. She was leader so she put others first, no questions asked. She padded carefully. She was one fox-lengths away from Feathersoul.

Nettlesting padded out of the Warriors' Den and stretched. He watched as Mistystar and Feathersoul left and followed them. He wondered where they were going. ~GS~

Sedgeleaf paced in the Clearing. Mistystar was dead, and they didn't truly have a deputy. She was supposed to become deputy once the temporary one had been excused, but it didn't happen fast enough. She was alright with taking leadership, but she'd have to wait until Feathersoul got back to camp before telling the Medicine Cat what she planned to do.

Stardust awoke from her late sleep. She flattens her ears. She wasn't special and she was unliked. She padded to the Great Sycamore.

Silver padded into the camp and stared about in wonder, her eyes widened as she smelt all the smells and gave a slight smile. she felt as if she were home. she stared around noting the dens and how some cats acted diffferently from others. different ranks she thought.

Nettlesting stalked into the camp and walked over to one of his friiends. He whispered something to them and threw a curious look at Silver. He wasn't saying anything bad about her, he just wanted his friends opinion on if Sedgestar should let her join.

The beautiful young savannah cat leapt onto High Rock and called, "Let all cats hold enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath the High Rock for a Clan Meeting." Her voice echoed through the ferns, and she held herself very high as she looked upon her Clan.

Stardust pads into camp. She heard Sedgestar call a meeting. She padded up to the highrock. What is it?

Feathersoul padded back into camp, her ears still flat. She let them perk up, however, when she could sense most of the hostility had evaporated like dew on a hot green-leaf day. She heard Sedgestar summon the Clan, standing atop the highrock proudly as a leader should. The Medicine Cat positioned herself in her normal place, at the front of the crowd, a little to the right, her tail wrapped around her paws as she stared calmly up at the ThunderClan leader.

"Today, I have met a cat willing to become a ThunderClan warrior." She paused and continued. "Nettlesting has met her too, and I think he'd agree with me that she has the heart and bite to become a loyal Clan Cat." The savannah cat continued, now looking at Silver. "I, Sedgestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this outsider. She will train hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Silver, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
